Compliance ASIC proved!Lots of news from Cypak!Most important is that the CPK 082 is now well and truly proven. As with any P-ASIC, you don't really know that everything works until several months of rigorous testing. Integrating all this compliance technology in one single low-cost chip is complex and surprises may happen. Congratulations to our R&D team and partners for a super job! Now we are fully confident that the CPK 082 performs truly as advertised! Naturally we are receiving several great ideas for the next generation - thanks to our key customers - and we have some ideas of our own . We will inform the wider world when appropriate and make sure that whatever we do next is backwards compatible. Secondly, the implementation of core global standards proceeds apace. The new Continua converter smart cable supports Continua certified devices and is prepared for the IEEE 11073-10472 Medication Monitor when IEEE final ballot is completed - very soon we expect. The transformation from CPI to NFC "touch and go" communication is complete and current products that are shipping use the NFC protocol. With over 100 million NFC phones shipped to date, Cypak is confident that NFC represents the future for secure and easy-to-use communication with mobile phones.
