Cypak provide IEEE 11073-10472 global standard for medication adherenceThe IEEE 11073-10472 international standard for medication adherence monitoring has passed the final ballot in IEEE with a 97% majority vote in favor. Cypak has led the effort for two years and would like to acknowledge the significant contributions from many other organizations, in particular the Continua Health Alliance, National Health Service (UK), Kaiser Permanente, Partners, Ascension Health, Philips, Roche, Intel, Pfizer, A&D Medical, Panasonic, Tunstall, and many others.Cypak also acknowledges the valuable contribution of the Healthcare Compliance Packaging Council for Europe (www.hcpc-europe.org). "The unique expertise of HCPC in understanding compliance helped us bring the standard to a higher level and with confidence that we address the key issues", remarked Chris Johnson.
