Printable circuits and antennas

Using printable, conductive ink based on non-toxic carbon powder, electronic circuits and antennas can be printed directly onto low cost substrates such as paper, cardboard or plastic.
By forming electronic circuit lines and monitoring their opening and closings, printable circuits can be used to detect events. A broken seal, open lid or damaged packaging is easily detectable. Pressure sensitive areas can also be used as key switches in an electronic questionnaire. The circuits connect to the Cypak Electronic Module (CEM) where events are recorded and time-stamped. Our robust and extremely low cost CPI antenna can be printed in the same production step as circuits, in the form of a patch the size of a credit card.

The ability and know-how in printing circuits on folded paper enables multiple form applications such as boxes, wallets, books etc.
