CPK082 – Compliance Connection

The CPK082 programmable ASIC is a fully functional replacement for CPK081. In addition to medication monitoring, the CPK082 is a platform to create a wide range of sensor driven products.

Device manufacturers servicing the Connected Health market use the CPK082 to kick-start their programs with a chip that embeds conformance with ISO/IEEE 11073 standards and Continua Health Alliance guidelines.

Other manufacturers recognize that CPK082 offers a unique combination of features. Operating as an active RFID tag, the CPK082 supports up to 32 discrete analog/digital input/outputs and contains an 8051 compatible micro with 32kBytes memory.		 Ultra low power operation and embedded temperature and capacitance sensors make the CPK082 suitable for many applications.

Soft radio techniques support several wireless RFID interfaces, including NFC, ISO 14443-A, and ISO 15693. Continua concordance is achieved by an external RFID/USB converter which can be connected to a Continua Application Hosting Device.

Depending on customer wishes, the interface can be made very low cost using the Cypak contactless Peripheral Interface (CPI).		 The unique design of the sensor contacts makes the CPK082 suitable for integration with printed sensors on paperboard, plastics, foils, or fabric, as well as in conventional electronic designs.

The CPK082 is supplied as a naked die, in a QFN56 package, or mounted on a customized module.
